Here I sit.....

Here I sit at my desk while K sits behind me playing on her art game on Wii.....its been so long since I've last blogged, I'm not even sure where to start or what to say....so weird since there was a time I blogged daily and sometimes twice a day lol

Things are good for the most part, biggest complaint would be that I was laid off at the end of September and haven't found a new position yet....but on the upside I am going back to college in a few weeks, nervous as hell but also excited about it.....

Kaitlyn is doing great, I am blessed ;o) she's so beautiful and smart, sometimes too smart lol mostly smart mouthed, seriously do all 6 year olds use sarcasm? She is excelling at both school and karate, has a lot of friends, is very opinionated, loves and appreciates both art and reading and makes me laugh every day, just to name a few :o) I truly love being her mom...well except at homework time lol that I could do without its so much and she's only in first grade, I have nightmares over what it will be in say 5th! Occassionally she will say something about her father that makes me sad for her but thankfully she bounces back pretty quick, she is lucky to have some great men in her life to compensate for his lack of interest.

Am in touch with all my bff's on a semi regular period lol I say that because we call are hibernating this time of year well other than Amanda.....some external family drama but there usually is with them which is why I try to avoid them for the most part.....

The mother daughter dance is next weekend...which I hate going too lol because I hate having to make small talk with the other moms...but regardless I will put on my smile and go have some fun with K, though she mostly ditches me the second we get there and dances the entire time with her little friends and only comes back to me for drinks and to hold her stuff ;O)
